Possible email SCAM
« on: May 03, 2005, 01:27:21 pm »
Hi.

Today I received a couple of viruses via email. What I also got was a "Mail Delivery failed" message that suggests that I should have sent a mail to someone with the text "ok ok ok,,,,, here is it" and an attachment named "our_secret.zip" probably containing a virus.
I WILL NEWER SEND ANYONE MAILS WITH ATACHEMENTS!
If you receive one, delete it, don't open it. I'm not the one sending it.

Let it also be known, that as I am running Linux atm it is not possible that a windows-virus have infected my system and is sending these things out...

The content of the zip files I received was a file called "Winzipped-Text_Data.txt           .exe" and is according to Kaspersky Lab the virus "Email-Worm.Win32.Sober.p"
