I have Windows Vista installed on my PC. What would be the best software to buy to clean and speed up my PC? I need the best registry cleaner available. Though there are many freebies offered, I am willing to pay for the best one for my pc. Can anyone suggest me the best program available for the purpose?

diane:
Different people may give you different opinion to you on this topic but I think registrycleanfix will be suitable for you. I have been using it for a period and it has never given me any problem. You can get it from http://www.registrycleanfix.info/

I don't use any registery cleaner.
Why? because I never seen any performance increase.
And there is a lot of fake product out there that promise you lighting speed but only steal your money.
Registery cleaners are just an huge risk to break a working windows installation.

greyowl:
I use CCleaner to clean the computer of excess, unneeded files and it is safe.  It has a registry cleaner component, but I don't use it because I don't think it is wise to try to clean the registry.
