I haven't changed the exit-code so that must be a coincidence.

You are right! And it isn't a coincidence... It was a big "false positive"... Grin Grin

I thought that the "false positive" was true... I'm sad again...  Cry

it first looks at the "DisplayIcon" - if there is none it turns to the "UninstallString

Do you can to set after first looks at the "DisplayIcon" to look at the "DisplayIconEx"? Many programs have it (like Adobe Reader 7.0, Foxit Reader, WinRar) and don't have the first... I think through this the users can see more real icons.

Hi again,

Build 30 fixed the problem with sorting by file size. Yeah! The short delay also seems to help with the false "install folder not deleted" message.  (At least I haven't seen the problem since using buid 30.)

I'm having an issue with languages.  Could it be that I have the previous final still installed?  BTW, I really like the new startup screen. Smiley

If you've just copied the executable into your install directory thats where your problem is. You need to copy the "lang" folder too. The messagebox comes up when the language file isn't up to date...

Choose Font doesn't allow changing size or the style (italic, bold, bold italic).

Don't Show Windows Updates also hides Windows Media Player and Windows Media Format Runtime entries Huh.

The choose font thing is on purpose - and it is called 'choose font', not 'choose font, size & style' Wink

The windows update thing... What ZSoft Uninstaller does is that it checks if (TSAware = 1 AND Publisher = Microsoft Corporation) OR (ParentKeyName = OperatingSystem) ('TSAware', 'Publisher' and 'ParentKeyName' are values in the registry) - if it is it's counted as a windows update...

Ok.  Thanks.

I just tried it out with a new software I installed (that required rebooting) and it works great

One thing I wasn't aware of was the prompt "Do you want to delete the log?" right before the uninstallation stage is done -- because there were some newly created files and registry entries I knew were Windows legit, I clicked "no" on them when asked to delete or not.  I assumed if I clicked yes on deleting the log prompt that it would just delete the entries in the log that have already been deleted.  I didn't realize it would delete the entire log itself.  At least now I know.

Update: Installed another program.  After I clicked on "yes" to delete log, the log still shows in the Analyzed Programs.  So I right-clicked on it and selected Show Recorded Info, but ZU just freezes.  I had to manually exit ZU.  Restarted ZU and saw the log was gone.

Hmm, a message box with the text '(English) The file didn't exists :/' didn't pop up?

Build 47 uploaded - it updates the list when you close the 'Analyze Installation' window.

The 'file doesn't exist' did prompt, but after I clicked ok or cancel (forgot which one), it froze.  But the problem is resolved in Build 47 Smiley.

Are you sure it froze? I noticed that after showing the message box I forgot to set the cursor back from the hour glass thing, so if the hour glass cursor was 'the only thing' it actually didn't freeze... Well, doesn't really matter, now that it is fixed =)

The hour glass stayed there for so long I thought it simply froze.  Yes.  It's all good now Afro.
