I have been having problems uninstalling AOL Canada after analysing the installation.  ZU starts the uninstall, then stops for about 10-15 mins., then resumes and finishes.   It usually stops on files related to RealPlayer which is part of the AOL installlation.  While it stops, task manager says it is "not responding" and the title bar of ZU says "not responding".   I am not on a network.   I am running XPsp3.

If ZU tries to delete a lot of files that is in use, it will significantly slow down the program. You have probably seen it in regular browsing of your files, if you try to delete a file that's in use, the current explorer window will 'freeze' for a few seconds, and then tell you that the file couldn't be deleted because it was in use... If there's enough files like that, it will take some time...
