Personally, however, I do delete backups after some time ;)

Thanks for the information. I now understand what the files is.

In regards to old backups of temp files, is it safe to assume after an reasonable amount of time with no problems that it is ok to delete the backups

Files inside the 'backup' directory is - as the name says - backup files. It is files you have 'backed up and deleted' from your system using the 'Temp File Finder' tool.

I did a scan with Avast Antivirus and it identified a ZSoft file as being corrupted. It is one of the hidden files. 
I am wondering if this is important and if there is anything I need to do with the file.

Below is the file which was identified:

01/22/2008 01:21
Scan of all local drives
File C:\Program Files\ZSoft\Uninstaller\backup\1200833679\30.zubak\update\langspecific\nor\updspapi.dll Error 42127 {CAB archive is corrupted.}
